HARPOONERS is a European project focused on the development of high-voltage, modular and lightweight battery systems for maritime and inland waterway transport, involving 13 organisations from 7 European countries.
My work covers the design and development of the corporate website, as well as its maintenance and updates throughout the life of the project, together with performance monitoring through Google Analytics and quarterly reports.
The challenge
The challenge was to create a digital platform capable of clearly presenting a highly technical European project while supporting its communication and evolution throughout its three-year duration.
La web debía dar visibilidad al consorcio y a los objetivos del proyecto, pero también funcionar como repositorio de sus avances y resultados, incorporando progresivamente noticias, eventos, newsletters, deliverables y otros contenidos generados por el proyecto.
The solution
I designed and developed a corporate website in WordPress, with an architecture designed both to present the project and to incorporate new content as it evolves.
The structure includes information about the project and its partners, as well as dedicated sections for news and events, results, newsletters, synergies and public deliverables, making it easier to share and access the activities carried out by the consortium.
Since its launch, I have continued to handle the maintenance and updating of the website, adding new content and documentation whenever needed.
In addition, I carry out quarterly web analytics monitoring, with Google Analytics reports that provide insights into traffic trends, the most viewed content and user behaviour.
The result
HARPOONERS has a digital platform that evolves alongside the project, bringing together both its core information and the content and results generated throughout its development.
Ongoing maintenance keeps the website up to date throughout the project, while analytics monitoring provides data on the reach and use of this communication tool.
