The challenge

EIT Food leads the ambitious programme EWA - Empowering Women in Agrifood, designed to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of women entrepreneurs in those regions of Europe that are more moderate in terms of innovation in the agri-food sector.

This is an international project implemented in 13 European countries which provides participants with mentoring, networking opportunities and specific training for 6 months to accelerate their business.

In 2022 I was elected to support the coordination of all the activities that were carried out throughout the year as part of the project and the communication activities corresponding.

Actions

In the EWA project I coordinated and helped to implement various actions in a wide variety of channels, always respecting the branding of EIT Food and the project in particular. Some examples of the tasks developed (non-exhaustive list):

  • Creation of a printed brochure about the programme.
  • Updating of the website and social networks dedicated to the project.
  • Virtual community dynamisation
  • Coordination of paid social media campaigns
  • Coordination with press office for media strategy and press releases
